I think one of my favorite tropes is the always goofy or laid back character getting serious. 99% of the time they don’t seem to be bothered, but then they get miffed about something. Really makes the times they do get serious stand out.

@necrodilus I have So Many but rn my faves are these two: Aruna whose a post-humanity grim reaper, and Ravana whose a forsaken prince & demon hunter! They're both Tamil but Ravana's from a more high fantasy world w/ multiple South Asian cultural influences + OTT fantasy tropes lol

@Sakuuda Gal Gohan is great because it's short, fairly straightforward, and because it breaks one of those annoying tropes HARD. It's one of the most annoying cockblocks, and I'm glad Gal Gohan swatted it aside.
