Working on some more basic designs and patterns last night. Ended up knocking out that a few Hocus Pocus themed pieces. I'm really surprised how well I did with these. I was nervous since it's a cartoonier style than I am used too.

Maybe it's just me, but something about his artwork feels like a toonier version of Nagatoshi Sakai's style.

While yeah, there ARE clear differences between the two styles, it does feel like they both follow a similar school-of-thought.

My biggest influences are Looney Tunes (mainly the works of Bob Clampett and Tex Avery) and Ren & Stimpy (and Spümcø in general, to a certain extent). Hope ya enjoy the dumb toonies I make if ya stick around!
