I initially planned a quadtych like Mucha’s seasons paintings, with a harvest scene, but I found it to be too flat and equal, and didn’t communicate a cycle. Though the character does create heroes feasts the harvest/feast scene didn’t feel fitting

I think it’s kinda symbolic here in Langa’s race against Adam is that even though Langa starts on the right and Adam is on the left, they can’t face each other, initially at least. Even though Adam faces him, Langa is turned away. They’re a bad match for each other.
