you may think why unwrap took so long? well, I like to pack everything by hand and have full control to do some tricks :) notice her dress/scarf are asymmetrical at the top, but not at the bottom(increased texture space), or that book is aligned perfectly for easy texturing, etc.

4. Overfilling UV edges

Idk if there's a better method buuuut:

Paint on the UV map slightly over the edges, so there's no noticeable seams. If I dont do this, you'd be able to notice a distinct white outline anywhere i unwrapped the UVs!

it's like painting outside the lines!
