Metal Sonic is my favorite Sonic rival. He’s among my top favorite Sonic characters. I prefer him over Shadow even.

The issue with this fight is not that Surge doesn't have the power. The issue is that Metal Sonic was wasted for Surge's nonsensical and baseless motivation to "become Sonic".
