Like I had very few books as a young child but this illustration has a special place in my heart. I loved the beautiful lady’s clothes & the shoemaker’s dainty offering.

It's so hard to pick my top fav illustrated book, but perhaps the most influential to me is Doris Smith's 'House by Mouse' - a real gem of a tiny book with the most gorgeous illustrations. So many details and unique ideas!
