Tony Mottola's A Latin Love-In is one of those vintage LPs that you pick up for a dollar and becomes a favorite of your music library. This collection of latin-tinged jazz guitar standards sound wonderful (recorded on 35mm film) and goes perfect with rainy days.

Our Objects of the Day are these delicate watercolour illustrations by Elizabeth Corbet Yeats (who was also known as Lolly). They are from her 1896 painting manual, Brush Work, a copy of which is in our library. It was produced to teach children how to use watercolour techniques!

When I was 12(?) years old, I found a manga called "Kodomo no Omocha" in the town library. This series was so funny and psychological, I can remember that in the end I was so devastated and kinda traumatized. At least the intro is still catchy today lol. (sketchy fanart)
