My first real exposure to Kamen Rider was Jiro Osamu, the Batman of Japan, from Grant Morrison's Batman Incorporated title.

I thought he looked so cool and so many of his design elements seemed to be referencing something very specific and that sent me down a deep rabbit hole.

We see Goliath and Kengo dressed up as Tigers, this is quite obviously referencing how 2022 is the year of the tiger according to the Chinese zodiac. Its only fitting that our pet animal and cat body dress to match the occasion.
