Made this sonic sprite, I inspired it off of the one made by @BryceCarringto5 for his sonic fangame called sonic: boundless. I'm actually pretty hyped for it, wish you good luck with the development man... #pixelart #SonicTheHedgehog
Early Sneasel:
Sneasel's Gold & Silver sprite was created first, then later, Ken Sugimori changed the design when he made its official artwork. But what if Sugimori HADN'T changed Sneasel's design?

Happy birthday to Ryuji from #Persona5! This is my birthday gift for him! Just a sprite edit of his #P5R sprites. It's of his unused blushing sprite!!
I know it's not much, I'm sorryyyy 🥺
1 - P5 sprite, 2 & 3 - P5R sprite edit
Beta Sneasel:
In Gold & Silver's 1997 demo, Sneasel was originally pure Dark-type and much more weaselly. Interestingly, his sprite remained brown even in G&S's final build.

2. 1997 demo sprite, 1999 final sprite
3. 1999's final artwork
Beta Gengar:
With a beta sprite dating back to 1990, Gengar was among the earliest Pokemon ever created. What changed in development? Mostly his eyes, ears, teeth, and chonkiness.

2. 1990 beta sprite, 1995 final sprite

@BilalThird PACKING TAPE!
(trop stylé ce sprite, il n'est pas présent dans la vers originale malheureusement :()
I never post anymore bc I never finish things so instead of just not doing anything I'll throw out some concepts for Tilo's matrix sprite, he skates fast in his hardlight Shadow the Hedgehog hover boots
Beta Blissey:
In Gold & Silver's 1997 demo, Blissey was named "Happii" and evolved from Chansey at level 45. But she was later renamed and revised to evolve via friendship.

2. 1997 demo sprite, 1999 final sprite
3. 1999's final design
Beta Rhyhorn:
When Rhyhorn was first created, its original design was a whole lot smoother -- it almost looks like it could've been Rhyhorn's pre-evolution.

2. Beta sprite, release version sprite

these have 4 colors per sprite, and the larger scale dynamics are hand painted tile by tile using palette swaps.
there is a sort of balance which i am trying to work out between freer color work (above) and strictly brightening / darkening within the same 4 color palette.
Kogasa would like to battle! Tried doing a Touhou x Pokemon sprite, I love her umbrella so much, it's definitely interesting to draw!

just one day off each from the iconic "shit. let's be santa" and birth of arquiusprite, so close yet so far u_u https://t.co/NkeJO0Ldn7
This is the third time I've updated my original Sonic sprite, and I'm quite happy with the results! Definitely more better than my first attempt at a custom Sonic styled sprite. I may plan on trying my hand at spriting Tails, Knuckles, and Amy whenever I get the motivation.
The Brothers Bear from Donkey Kong Country 3 do not exist as distinct sprites in the game's data. Instead, every bear is created by taking a generic "base bear" sprite, recoloring it, then superimposing details specific to that bear on it to save space on the cartridge.
it itsn't even accurate to the in-game sprite, they made it silly-looking just for the sake of it
@Strikecim @Hdk51200 @Julius_Bort Très exactement mon blaze il vient de ce sprite, Shizu...qui ?
