I've been drawing Celes for her birthday every year. I thought it'd be interesting to look back at how my depictions have evolved since 2017. I think 19 is my favorite. Then in 20 I started trying to change my style based on feedback from Jules. Getting there? Maybe? IDK.

This is a virtuoso still life painting which demonstrates Orpen's facility at depicting texture and reflective surfaces with flair and skill, and with less emphasis placed on a coherent compositional arrangement.

Our favorite day is @AlecSecareanu Fanart Sunday! This wonderful watercolor of this significant scene in @gocfilm is by @arthur_radical, Habi Hirato. I love how the artist uses a deceptively delicate style to depict a powerful and beautiful scene in the film. A Lovely work.

Maxi's background depicts oriental dragons and rough waves. These symbolize Maxi himself, as well as his nunchaku attacks, that rampage like a dragon, gaining momentum and becoming a powerful wave.

i empathized and sympathized with all of these characters
it's a genuinely beautiful story with some of the highest production value i've ever seen in a furige
the gore makes sense for the kind of war it's trying to depict and many of the leading characters regret their actions
