Heck me I'm 20! When did I turn 20? Whos idea was that? I still feel 13. I get I lost like the majority of my childhood in the memory loss. And I only stopped being depressed for like four years. But this is crazy? I'm gonna be old enough to drink in less than a half a year too!?

The dresses = visual metaphors. They tell story via symbols. Some obvious; others subliminal. Akin to Freudian representation in dreams. Circus Dress is "actor construct" - mirror of a false reality. Denial Dress is repressed guilt. They change because Alice changes as she grows.
