Where the story fails, is that Selina isn't being expected or asked to be a hero. It's literally about whether or not she can be a loyal romantic partner for Bruce Wayne/Batman. Taking away Selina's confidence, portraying her as a bad girlfriend, bad mom, is regressive & sexist.
