for example I'm currently designing Blizzard (lol) which damages and freezes 3 nearby targets, and I put a cost of 7. If I had put 5, you could cast it twice on same round (freezing all enemy units a whole turn)! So just 2 cost difference has a big impact gameplay-wise!
Fun fact: Lode Runner was initially developed as a game called Suicide, then under the names Kong and Miner. It was an attempt to clone the Donkey Kong arcade game based on a *description* of its gameplay.

Still not totally jazzed by Arknights' gameplay but the art direction and UI design are both really good, and they crammed a bunch of systems into here like xcom base-building and the xenoblade relationship chart (????)
@DingDongVG I think if you have a unique parry mechanic then the animation should probably be either unique or at least not too shared with other ones so it stands out. Right now it looks like he's punching their attack rather than deflecting it. Gameplay Looks amazing though.
