A very useful website, including all Splatoon 2 high resolution 3D models: characters, clothes, enemies, weapons and game objects you can see in the game. You can download them or use pictures as a reference.

metal slime girls can be bubbly, liquid-y, or both. also when they're not running away like what metal slimes are famous for, they probably like being around other metal objects like a hero's sword. imagine MGE's slime girl but metallic!

Here’s some of my recent art!

Art tip: objects in foreground get greater value scale and higher saturation. Things in background get smaller value scale and less saturation (I know, it’s the basics! 🤷‍♂️)

I really struggle with human figures. I have to use TONS of references

background step

1. consider the overall balance when adding the objects in the background

Here's another design from my little sci-fi world. Some sort of streetwear kid with the ability to lift objects, great and small to hurl at his enemies. ^^

Another popular approach was the use of spheres and prims, often untextured, to create figures and organic objects. This look evoked plastic or vinyl, and evoked bright and poppy energy along the lines of the more "bubblegum" side of y2k.

Well who wants the new update? With new armors, a few more objects. And some other things to enjoy. I'll try to finish up other unfinished stuff soon. Because I could use a nap now.

i forgot to upload this here. this is a colour theory practice where i learn to pull and push objects in the foreground and background using saturated versus brighter colors and using grayish color palettes. other things i tried was different color linework, soft vs hard shading.

'Humbugging, or Raising the Devil' by Thomas Rowlandson (1800), from .

Cunning-folk were the sort of wizards who knew how to put on a good show. Arcane objects filled their consulting rooms: skulls, strange animals, herbs, & mysterious manuscripts, as shown here.
