I then did a couple of test pieces. I knew I wanted to use a pop of red for this so I needed to test gouache, something I've never used, versus watercolor. I ended up swapping to a higher quality gouache by my third piece. This was one of my tests. I also timed them at 1-2 hours.

Usually about 3-5 hours, depending on the amount of characters and posing. The first pic took about 2.5 hours. The second one took about 5 b/c the pose was really difficult for me. The third one isn't even done and I've already sunk 6 hours into it, so many characters

Apparently I work fast haha. Not done yet! Just two stages of the WIP (still gotta shade). Time between sketch and lines/colours was about 1.5 hours. Finishing off tomorrow~

It.. honestly vastly depends on details. MOST of my commissions end up being within 3 hours (or 1 in terms of sketches/etc)

The first two took me about 2-3 hours
The latter two 8-10-ish hours.

Just got done playing Monster Hunter: World for 6 hours. That game is so good, anything with monsters or creatures is an 11/10 for me lol
