Experiment with various edges to create contrast and direct the composition. Pens or a fine brush with wet ink will create a crisp line. A more frayed/dry brush will create softer lines. This can be used to create depth of field effects or lessen the impact of lines. 8/?

round 1. slapped on some highlights to better define the hair color. top right is the closest to their original. blonde might not have enough contrast. reds i need to be careful w/ so they dont clash w/ the wine red. gonna keep fiddling

Working on this in between work / commissions. I'm really digging contrasting colors.
For instance, the green of Link being complimented by the Octoroks, which are then contrasted against the smoke / ink. Art really can be cool man.
