@Krinklefry87 Start with gesture drawing using a huge brush. From there do a sketch. It’s all about the flow of your art and curves vs straights (his back is curved while his front has lots more detail). This is maybe more a tip for character design but gesture drawing is always good

As I was learnin' about quads n' tris n' edge flow n' shit, I kept taking the model further. At this time I started UV unwrapping and texture painting. The biggest thing I learned through all this is to mark UV seams as you go, because finding where they would be wasn't fun.
