Interesting (to me, anyhow) that the panel sequence on the page in the web version aren’t going to match the print version. And there are panels in the Instagram version that I had to drop. I’ll probably try re-mathing things at the end of the second printed comic.

Next to the Gargoyleosaurs, they are by far one of the more playful and inaccurate designs in the comic. Sharing little with the actual creature beyond name and basic outline. They do have tails though. They make up the central plume in their game bird like fans.
