The biggest crime of #ThorLoveAndThunder is that it had all the potential to be such a thought-provoking and emotive story. It's neither. It also fails at just being a zany action flick. The action feels paint by numbers and the jokes don't land half the time. A shame.

Absolutely some of Studio Trigger's best work. Feels like a love letter to the hyperviolent anime OVAs of the 80s and 90s with that Imaishi feel and heart. This is an all timer.

something feels off about the reboots of old UPA cartoons in comparison to their predecessors. like, they were trying to base the newer shows off of the UPA art style, but it doesn't hit that mark
