It’s been 13 years since I first did something art-wise digitally. Here’s the first pic I ever coloured using Photoshop CS2 and a laptop touchpad and my finger. Line art was inked on paper and scanned in. She was supposed to be my art mascot when I was in highschool still lol

Recently I found faster tools for doing the same process, using Photoshop and even Photomosh's light distribution meshes. It creates a height map from the image which you can use to pull it out into an extra dimension

Messed around a bit with Krita's RGBA brushes. Brought back fond memories from when I painted with acrylics.
Be sure to install the Pigment O plugin by Eyeodin for more granular colour control if you plan on trying out Krita, especially if you are coming from Photoshop.
