Basically the first half of volume 1
It was so damn good
This arc is basically the original sao anime episode 2 but written 10 times better with even a mystery element in it
And it pays off so well at the end🙏

Michiru’s look for this arc (or at the very beginning which are where these panels are from) really remind me of Naru. I know Naru makes a cameo in Stars with Michiru being in the same place as her, but she kinda looks like a long haired Naru. Maybe that’s just me idk;;
