Tried colouring some scanned lineart again, since for me, apparently, lineart is easier by hand but colouring is more fun (and less risk) digitally :D

Dio probably finds it easier to believe Speedwagon when he says he was 'born evil' because it justifies his actions. He was fated to be that way & so his actions are out of his control.

Admitting he wasn't born evil would mean acknowledging his humanity. Something he despises.

Last, but not least I finished this one \o/ My hand hurts a bit and it slowed me down, but I'll go easier on myself for a few days :D I also levelled up the skill "skirt drawing".

I overlay colors little by little, and also paint opaquely on top, then merging them and painting opaquely again. Its easier to build saturation slowly than desaturate it later. Adding details like the frills only at the very last.

I do take some references that are easy to do, like the hands (my hands ✋). The lighting was very valuable.

As for the house, I found an xps model from deviantart and use as base. It's easier than going to the game and taking screenshots.

Coloring seems to wash out some detail, so I'll just post both. I like adding color because it makes it easier to identify chars xD

Both of them also give up oki entirely on their command grabs, but the difference is that Vas is now in bully range, while Wald isn't. Not to mention that Vas keeps oki in the corner and has a much easier time actually connecting with it.
