Learning English was so much easier and so was back when I decided to learn some French (in a month I learned what I’ve learned in 5 with Chinese), so this is truly taking me a lot of brain juice and effort and frustration

@KatalystArts Thanks for the share! Throughout the year I've been making fanart which I'm proud/not proud of. I'm proud because I've learned a lot of different techniques and been experimenting with different styles but at the cost of less original stuff which makes me sad too...

This year I painted very little, but learned a lot.
The plans are big and ambitious, next year I will put all the galleries in order, I will be organizing, and also change the city of residence. I hope I have enough strength.

After looking at @tsamXXX art, I wanted to try messing with glows and shading. Learned a bit as a result... Alright, I just wanted an excuse to draw Mik. On that note, I've always imagined her to be pretty blunt whenever she feels like it.

Those were made back in my formative years, and I only learned about them this very year. Blacksad sure knows a LOT of people (non-canonically, of course).
