I've been messing around with Midjourney for a couple days now and my takeaway is: There are some things it is freakishly good at creating. Most folks would not be able to easily identify it as AI art, and the better you get at prompting, the better the results are. 🧵

A friend of mine has access to a rather capable ai algorithm for creating illustrations. For a lark we asked it for Cassandra Cain Batgirl drawings. The results are cool, if muddy.
As an illustrator I have complicated feelings about ai illustration but it’s happening regardless.
