(As hilarious as it sounds i just discovered the right tool to add the shades and it's my first attempt XD. I discovered it after half of the shading was added so there is a visible difference between the two methods)

i like the way this turned out..i can say,after a month of trying an error,i finally found my rendering methods..and ultimately my style,so hype,it saved me from a lot of headaches,it sure takes more time to be completed but im happy with the outcome..

Can’t figure out how to properly use gradient maps over greyscale paintings. I usually paint straight away in color, but it lacks mood; this method lacks nice colors :/

Had a more successful go with Procreate this week. Not anywhere near done, but it's nice to have figured out a coloring method that works finally. 😅 Don't mind me, digital and I have a rocky relationship so far. 😂

Finally read both of 's books that I've had for a while and decided to take a crack at her method for my first ever with the theme of clothing!

4. Overfilling UV edges

Idk if there's a better method buuuut:

Paint on the UV map slightly over the edges, so there's no noticeable seams. If I dont do this, you'd be able to notice a distinct white outline anywhere i unwrapped the UVs!

it's like painting outside the lines!
