- No gradients/no cell shading

- Using multiple colors in shading/lighting

When it comes to cell-shaded sketches, I usually just colour 'em in manually using the brush tool like the idiot that I am.

However, I'm now trying to be cultured for once and actually use the tools Photoshop has for me. I'm quite happy with the results so far 👀

A Short Hike is great for this. You walk around and find things that will help you hike further up the mountain where you can finally get cell reception. It's chill, enjoyable, with a lot to explore for a game that only takes a couple hours to finish. Also, you're a bird.
