So I was introduced to Peter Orner’s “Fowler’s Lake” (@kenyonreview) today via @WKoewing. So much to unpack: the depth of characters, the pacing of tension, the lingering questions. Now checking out his flash collection “Maggie Brown & Others” so goodddd

Ok so I made a tier list with the help of @FightCoachFight ! @AlexTheKami chimed in towards the middle/end. Here it is! I talked in depth about my reasons for each placement! I hope you guys enjoy the video once its up on YouTube! I'll be putting it up tonight after my stream!
@charlelelelette Oh ok, well take this shovel knight art for example. A big thing about landscapes to me is adding depth. I added depth by blurring the background. I like drawing hills or mountains and something you can do with hills is blur the ones in the back more. Hope that helps/makes sense!

Aside from my own HC that he’s biracial Japanese, I just feel like there’s a depth to him that is covered by his loud and obnoxious front. Idk man, I just love him a lot and I can’t explain why in full rn, but I do 😭
@coucyi Heya, here's some of my work! Ty for the thread 💖 my current goal is to get better at depth and drawing heads (look, some progress!) and to finally start storyboarding the 2nd chapter of my webcomic 😭 finding the time has been hard but I need to do it!!
The last time I saw this around I was too early into most of my campaigns to talk in-depth, but A Whole Lot of Stuff has happened since then so LET'S GO IT'S EZ TIME ✨
before “blurring” my line art and after!! it’s a little trick in I learned on tiktok and it really gives the art more depth in my opinion!

@yuutayo This piece was a big risk and challenge, trying to figure out how to make her flesh transparent, and making her look like slime at the same time. Playing with depth and shading was so fun!! I'd love to make this a keychain or sticker...
No need to thank me for pulling this show out of the depths of your brains
@serene_dipitee Slade is in there because he's such an in depth evil character
"Beyond Ordinary Limits" is an expressive gestural abstract painting by Linda O'Neill. An animated range of contrasting colors, lines and forms bring a power and depth to the work. Her aim to to bring "transparency to raw, authentic emotion". https://t.co/CLSt7oeo6I
