My first encounter with this franchise was Awakening. I had fun, but didn't play another FE Game until a beautiful (M) Adrift Corrin tempted me to start Heroes. Some months later, I bought my very own Fire Emblem. It was 3H and I loved it!

I chose Mathew Gafford ( ) as the subject for this portrait because he is without a doubt one of my favorite artists. The amount of dedication and hours he pours into his work is nothing short of inspiring and deserving of recognition. Can't wait for episode 2!

That said I think I do need to give FEH a lot of credit where it's due for keeping me productive. A lot of the art in the game was just so inspiring + it was my first time being exposed to some of the older games' characters...!
