Missed because of work. It's hard finding time being a solo dev with a day Job. A "cheat" I did to speed up the process. Rendered a 3d animation in blender with my proportions to help me as a guide when animating.

The key on the eyes (which you probably already know) is to have the pupils be in normal proportion, but the SHADING is how you make it look less like serial killer's eyes.

The only thing I can think of (without flat out ignoring their tiny limbs and making them proportionately fat) would be just them having big stomachs etc with limbs a bit bigger. Like, skinny people limbs
