Base shadows done. Using a user-made brush for shading here and damn, it's pretty good. It allows me to make a nice gradient without using the blend tool.

Metroid Dread then… overall it was pretty good. I grew to love the EMMI sections, the bosses are brilliant and the core gameplay loop will always be compelling fun. But it felt quite dated and safe. It was very predictable and looked quite bland. It’s a 7/10 for me.
