Day 2- Zombie

A Whalefall comes into view, the sub's lights illuminated a massive writhing form in the dark. A swarm of hungry critters had descended upon the corpse, obscuring your view. Suddenly, they quickly disperse in all directions. You see the behemoth move once more.

Just a comparison of the old and new to show my thought process. The end result should be more like a painting, which I’m gradually pushing in that direction with each layer of sketching. Decided to turn the body bag into a guy split on a meat hook and bring ribs to the counter.

The first piece I drew after Inktober with some kind of colour was this piece of Ky. And it felt like a really big turning point in my art direction.

Its not an amazing piece, but Its special to me now. It took me 3 days to finish. I just kept trying to be simple.
