I recommend redrawing some of your old stuff now and then just to really see how far you've come.

My art then vs now.
Honestly, I could probably always draw like this, it was just a matter of distributing myself the effort it needed.
I never felt motivated and when I did I thought I couldn't improve. Having patience with myself and a lot of energy drinks I'm proud of my work.
