I improved another Zokai sprite. It's Prowana, a fish Zokai with a terrible bite.

The old design looked a little round and goofy, which wasn't the goal of the design. But I designed it when I was a little kid, so what can you expect?

It reminds me more of Kirby's Dream Land 3's design.

Kirby's Dream Land 3 had the rotund shape and the more penguin-like beak, but it also had round circular eyes that didn't peek from under the crown, yellow gloves, and the beak was wide. It lacks a neck too.

Here’s where I landed! Sometimes I like to render things out in b&w and then add color, sometimes I like to do it all at once. It just depends on my mood!

And in this case we didn’t end up using my graphic elements in white, but they were a springboard for the final design.

HAL is really about to reveal that this is actually an evil alternate dimension Dedede who has been trying to replace our Dedede for years, nearly succeeding in 64, and at it again now with the abduction of Dedede's entire waddle dee army.

...Or it's simply another redededesign.

PPPP Trivia:

Lagnus’ design slightly changes between his SEGA appearances.

Quest gives him a cape and more detailed armor for his higher rank cards. PPT2 goes with this design, while Chronicle uses his standard design. Champions uses both, but prioritizes the cape one.

Tbh, Ethan easily has my favorite male Pokemon MC design. Across both GSC and HGSS, I find a plot to like in his design. I feel it just standout a lot more than some of the other male Pokemon MC designs for me. GOATED design overall

I love design. Odysseus was known as someone who won with his intellect not his strength and his design really captures that. He looks like a cold and calculating general more than a bombastic hero like Achilles. Also capes always make a design better.
