I believe this anime was also based on an otome game of the same name, never got to play it though.

Outlaw Star and The Last Exile are and will always be two of my all time fave anime. ^.^ Both very good, very different styles and also... sadly cut too short. They deserved a longer run. Another season at least. Underrated. Give them a look if you havent before. I'd recommend it

The first ape is always the favourite. He was my second DeGod. I love the off-white/cream BG against the gold laurel & splash of gold/yellow on the wings and (tooth?) chain. A very hairy ape too.
