You guys I found more art from 2007 but honestly my dA account got banned bc I was under thirteen and so much was lost!! I can’t go digging thru it. I DID find this though, which I was SOOOO PROUD OF… I will put it up against another recent comm for no targeted reason at all

I was just out of art school, afraid to draw men and backgrounds, I didn't know how to color digitally. I had no confidence in myself.
15 years of hard work, practicing and improving, making mistakes, growing as a an artist. It's not a talent thing.

I was 16 when I got my first Genius Tablet. I'd scan the pencil lineart and paint on a new layer. I used burn and dodge for lights and shadows 😂

I’ve filled so many sketch books, spent SO much time just doodling. Not even big finished pieces! For a long time just pen sketches on paper. Just drawing over and over again.
