Greyscaling is slowly improving, and my understanding of colors and light. Still struggling with gold, but nonetheless it really helped me lay out the shaded colors before adding on the highlights.

Much better results this time. Switching to oil paints did the trick, as well as decent enough greyscaling. Finally *starting* to get the hang of how colors work.
