IDW inspired I can't say I agreed with his actions, but boy I loved his characterization. He actually had substance to him, a 3 dimensionality that was pretty much lacking in the original G1.

Something that really sucks is how Sonya is treated by the FE fandom, she has one of the best character designs in echoes, and has a ton of really well done characterization, but because of the reaction to Tharja and Camilla, people write her off solely because she looks similar.
