So I decided to draw him again for fun.

Compared to the last drawing... there IS a difference in terms of style xD.

When I started digitally painting and instead of doing multiple layers for shading I just did it on one layer and would just change the blending mode of my brush if I needed to (I secioned different parts like hair and body and such into different layers of course)

1st drawing took me about a whole day or two and the 2nd and 3rd drawings took about 4 hrs. I'm still getting used to drawing digitally after drawing traditionally for almost forever

that 'clean' lines don't have to be Clean Lines. Learning how to draw digitally like I draw on paper and not worrying about doing big sweeping lines and connecting every pixel made lineart so much less painful jesus https://t.co/xOXETw4XXw

I find colour really hard! I agonise over it. I try to use it deliberately, I also spend AGES trying out different combos, digitally colouring roughs, painting roughs on paper, going round in circles…. It’s painful, but hopefully it was worth it… 9 days until he’s published!
