despite how badass he looks here, my thoughts for him are to be a sickly/sad derg.. his fins are just under developed wings? idk. 95% of the time he's just lumbering over his pile of treasures... mostly just personal mementos of Zulay :')
he does eventually stop resenting it, but didnt internally grasp he'd developed an emotional spectrum broader than dead serious->rage until the girls start rebelling and he realizes he'd rather continue to protect them than obey orders that treat them like enemies (pic unrelated)
