Very proud of this commission I did of a lovely client's crested gecko (with an adorable underbite and eye deformity). I rarely do reptiles, so this was a wonderful challenge and quite rewarding.

I find Otto Dix's depiction of war in "Der Krieg" astounding. While in classical paintings, war often depicted as bravery and glory, during the 20th century (especially in Dix's art) the depiction of war shifts from glory and heroism to tragedy, terror and disaster.

Tried new way of shading. Made B&W shadows and then moved it to colored parts, idk how u call it. Not my drill yet, but i will practice it more in the future for simple stuff i guess
