Old Bomb Jack video hardware is really quite colourful. Been experimenting with different colour quantization algorithms for 8 colour palettes (1 colour is always black background) in 16x16 pixel tiles. Inspired by @MonstersGo to squeeze as many colours out.

Arabian Fight (Arcade, 1992). Running on Sega's System 32 hardware, the brawler uses Yu Suzuki's Super Scaler tech to pull off neat depth of field trickery. It also plays anime movie sequences directly over the game when using magic specials - a similar art style to Road Avenger.
