YU-NO tells a story that can only be told through the format of a visual novel.
It can feel a bit underdeveloped and the sexual content can hinder the quality, but it truly stood the test of time.

honestly it's a limitation of the way they animate and they didn't want to mess with it just for one unit. they probably had a system in place that would just move the sprite sections on points in code.
