the left one is swimuist from dolphin wave and the right one from a challenge on FB
@TheFrenchNugget I do see a bit of an improvement with anatomy and proportions
I’m gonna try to branch out to different types of art next year tho!!
@sorrowmadeflesh I just think of her in these proportions and it's fine hh... if she had a little more meat on her legs
meowth's kinda got the limb proportions of a brachiosaurus
I redrew some of the new Pokemon in the "Classic Pokemon" style for @TotallyNotMark in this vid.
Really tried to explore the different proportions, colour limitations and personality that older Pokemon had. https://t.co/9JL00lHqlI
@esaariart I’d be interested to see how you interpret Rick Taylor from Splatterhouse. He doesn’t get a lot of art online but I like his Jason Vorhees-esque design, plus I wonder how you’d interpret some of his details and just his overall proportions!
trying to fuck around with proportions and messy linework, weird mountain pass militiaman
Nov 13-16 I like to diversify my illustrations, doing portraits and full bodies! I am liking my current style for body proportions as well, I will try to use this proportions on my OCs this month!
I constantly see people saying that Uekawa lost his talent over the years, but can I say something? I like his current style more than the one he had in the adventure era. It feels like an evolution of the same artstyle. It's more detailed, proportioned. It's beautiful
Looking back to it this character, I feel like it was more of the face bothering me than the body proportions.
That was the sore thumb of this character design.
