A drawing I did awhile ago, in remembrance for one of my best friends, Amberly. It's been 12 years now but I still miss her every day. It's really hard for me to talk about loss but I keep trying to work through it and remember the good times. 🌄

150 years ago, 4 Aug 1870, battle of Wissembourg saw the first French defeat in the Franco-Prussian War. The memorial unveiled 1909 gave French Alsatians a site for remembrance. It was destroyed in 1940, rebuilt 1960.
