Which even, in a way, gets referenced by Starline in the IDW comic. Since when he meets Sonic he says that they're the ONLY one able to oppose Eggman single-handedly. So seems like this is the direction SEGA wants moving forward.

I really like Zavok's 180 in IDW. His first appearance had him being evil as usual, but when we see him in a more intimate talk with Starline, giving him the right words he needed to become the individual he is turning into.

He's pretty great there.

I personally think it might just be because of the (admittedly) unspoken rule of sonic characters having to have flat feet like this, and the spur part of starlines shoe was likely a pun and the only way he could have them. But that's just me lol

Starline is one of my favorite Sonic Characters period. From his intro to now he has been nothing less than amazing. His flamboyant attitude, his unique and eye-catching design, and his unexpectedly really well rounded character arc. They've set up this guy perfectly.
