Their journey began
on a barren waste where the reader arrived
afraid and alone

They follow the stars
Bound together
Strands in a braid 'til the end

We sing of the last
of the Nightwings who, having broken the cycle
shall live on in song

Oopsie Doopsiepie
I couldn't get that blur effect I wanted for the blue strands so I had to use the blue in a different way and made it the background with white strands qwq

what if ramuda keeps his pastel purple hair strands long so he can play with them from time to time because they remind him of how he used to play with jakurai's hair?? he had them before but it was just a hairstyle... but now? now it has MEANING

This is my friend . She makes through some changes and I would need your opinion.
How do you like the black hair compared to with purple strands? Doesn't the purple bites itself with the green?

I'm revamping the way I draw hair, and something I started to think about is whether or not I should remove hair strands entirely. So what do you think? Strands or no strands?

Strands (left), no strands (right)

Doodle Time!
Today's special is a duel wielding swordswoman with pearl strands for arms.

I was trying to be cool and edgy, then I realized I just made a DnD character based on Betty Spaghetty doll! 😂

Hair shader blending using some normal tricks. Partially aligning the normals towards the camera flattens the shading and makes the hair look less like cylinders. +bevel node to blend intersecting strands together. Try the nodes or Normal Edit mod (direction + camera target)

she's a timid girl who's been left in charge of her family's shop! (tentative accessory shop!)

not pictured, but she has a pair of long strands of hair in the back tht she plays w / pulls on when she gets nervous, and often speaks w a slight stutter

I'm not PYP, but I think it's to give the impression that you can see their eyes between strands of hair without having to draw individual strands of hair

Painted this up as a potential concept for the hosted by . Feedback welcome! (I like the overall hair shape, but some of the strands break the flow too much, and I think I'd like more material variation to have interesting things to texture later.)
