Essentially it's a college AU!! No demons or angels and certainly no dying, just a slice of life kinda thing where everyone gets a happy ending :)

The primary colored costumes seemed to initially define heroes, and secondary colors were used for villains. As costumes evolved (and some characters changed their criminal ways) purple became fashionable!
