I remember drawing oversaturated art with no studying done on color theory, anatomy, composition, etc. and just.. enjoying the process no matter how it turned out. Now I have honed more of these learned skills. I have improved ❤️

It's not about talent, it's about drawing whenever u can, and improving over time. Even as a kid I hated hearing I was talented, because that's not true. I was putting in the effort. I would carry a sketchbook where ever I go, and I still do.

I don't think I have any natural talent for art, no aptness for observation and understanding. I learn much slower than my peers and take more time to grasp things that should be basic. I've had to claw every bit of improvement out of myself.
