We never really codified it in the book, because we wanted to make it an open-ended tool, but I've always imagined modern Tal'Dorei as a setting for high-intrigue, high-espionage campaigns where players have to choose sides: the Tal'Dorei Council or the League of Miracles.

left = technically canon characters from an archived 2014 youtube roleplay series, my interpretation is VERY fast and loose tho
right = original dnd characters loosely on the left couple, but w/ a completely different backstory and setting to their inspiration

Been a while since I painted some stuff from my fantasy setting, time to break that trend with good ol' Varasia.

This involved practice in may regions, but most notably self restraint to avoid over-rendering and I'm super happy with the results.
