reposting this cause I remembered I did this and I'm still proud :D it looks very simple but figuring out and simplifying fungus spores to animate them as light was quite the challenge, even more figuring out the shadows around the fungus

Update of the original poster of the comic to better match the more current style of the comic post mouse-arc which is definitely where I feel the comic’s style really changed for the better with bigger shapes and expressions, more vibrant colors, and softer shadows
